Social media: the forbidden fruit of technology use in public education. But we know that teens are using it anyway with little training or guidance. As educators, we don't want technology and social media to be a negative influence for our students. And the only way we can conquer that is by highlighting the positive uses of social media and teaching our students how to harness its potential. In this session, you will learn easy ways to give your students the ability to engage with the online world all in a positive way. Let's work together to create pathways for our students to share their dreams, passions, and experiences with the world in a way that is different and better. A way to self-promote, to improve, to create and to become digital citizens in the best way possible using the 4C's to connect with the world.
