Teri is incredibly intune with education, educators, and student needs. She is an advocate for all things education. She is incredibly passionate and has a way of speaking that unlocks the potential of everyone listening to her. Being around her makes one want to become a better educator and (re)ignites their passion for teaching. Teri spoke last year during InnEdCO's Ignite session and caught everyone's attention with her impassioned speech about how educators need to get out of the way of student learning (sage on the stage vs guide on the side). In just 5 minutes, she was able to entrance everyone in the room and left all wanting to hear more. After a standing ovation, she was asked to do an encore Ignite during InnEdCOs closing session so that more could hear her message. Teri has so many invaluable things to share with educators and I think InnEdCO would provide an incredible platform for many fervent educators all while allowing the ripple affect to take her message to even more educators.
