Today's learners must be able to critically examine sources, and safely and efficiently navigate an ever expanding information environment. Primary and secondary teacher librarians will share tested research strategies, tactics, and tools that can help you cultivate critical thinkers and discerning consumers of information. Facilitators will walk through projects that were collaboratively planned and co-taught with teachers in a contextually relevant way and demonstrate the practical application of highlighted research strategies, tactics, and tools. Attendees will have time to workshop strategies, get hands-on time with tools, tap the collective expertise of the group to scaffold inquiry based projects, and integrate ideas and tips. Whether you are student, teacher, or administrator you will walk away from this workshop with a host of strategies and ideas to foster super savvy searchers at all grade levels. Bring a current unit to workshop!
