Participants will learn about a K-5 school in BVSD that utilizes a co-teaching model in the library to implement new and innovative practices. In this workshop, a teacher librarian and classroom teacher will share their own experiences with co-teaching and maker tools used to explore content, math, and coding in grades K-5. Focus will be on using a gradual release of responsibility model to build capacity and understanding of how to use the tools with more open-ended projects. We will focus on using ozobots with line-programming and ozoblockly. Examples include mapping out explorer routes and geometry concepts.Session Resource Link: https://sites.google.com/bvsd.org/ses-innovative-practices/home
