I am currently an Instructional Technology Coach for Denver Public Schools. In my work, I have the opportunity to support teachers as they integrate purposeful technology in their classrooms. I run professional development sessions, coach small groups and individuals, and empower students. I have provided trainings around tools such as Schoology, Google Suite, Nearpod, Pear Deck, Amplify, Quizlet, Lan School, Illuminate, and many more. Until July 2018 I spent 8 years in a classroom. I worked with students primarily in English Language Arts as we explored ways to enhance their communication skills and understanding. Additionally, I served a variety of roles such as department head, Instructional Leadership Team member, Collaborative Advisory Team member, club sponsor, fundraiser, new teacher mentor, Technology Team lead, coach, and instructional technology support. My passion is supporting learners in whatever their quest may be. I love inspiring and encouraging excitement and nerdiness. I have a passion for technology and how it can enhance our experiences as well as save time. I am eager to collaborate with others towards the same goals.
