Coding-n-Action is a club-based computer science competition engaging students grades 3-5 in learning high level computer science skills, computational thinking and problem solving. In this session we will walk through the development and success of the Coding in Action Coding Competition in Widefield School District 3. Attendees will learn the benefits of designing a competitive computer science competition in their district and the high impact on students learning . Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the evolution of Widefield District 3's coding competition and hear about the future trajectory of computer science in the district.
