This session will help educators overcome the hesitation of using CAD programming systems, building robots, and just creating cool stuff for student learning. Educators will experience TinkerCad, Fusion360, OnShape in a self paced, exploratory session. Participants will create a student project that reveals the deep questioning and interdisciplinary learning of intricate projects. Examples of student projects and applications in the classroom will be shared. For example, create a lego in Tinkercad or Fusion 360 and then print on a 3D printer to test quality of design. Design an LED arduino lamp and then program a light show. Or you can try your hand at simple programming with Arduino/Raspberry Pi kits. This session will have a little bit of everything to help you design with Computer Assisted Drafting. You CAD do this.
