This session will introduce educators as well as administrators to Google Classroom. It will provide a basic getting started guide to using Google Classroom in helping move towards a paperless classroom. Attendees of this session should leave with the ability to create their own classes, assignments, announcements and questions within Google Classroom. After attendees have a clear understanding of the basics we will dive a little deeper into some of the other amazing ways Google Classroom can help you engage your students and reduce your paper workload in the classroom. We will focus on creating authentic assessments and assignments and best practices when it comes to evaluating within Google Classroom. Attendees will get a chance to create lessons and activities that they can use when they get back to their classrooms in August.
