As Co-Director of Desiderata Schools, I enjoy applying cutting-edge technology to education and helping students to see the fun in learning. I particularly enjoy assisting students with the conceptual understanding of subjects which seem daunting, and seeing the often dramatic boost in self-confidence stemming from the achievement of goals that initially seemed out of reach. I am also increasingly active as a freelance textbook author and editor and video producer for companies such as CK-12, Wiley (the 'For Dummies' series) and others. I am extremely pleased to be able to use my curriculum development experience to assist these organizations with the admirable goal of helping education evolve from a 'one size fits all' model to the 'one size fits you' model also espoused by Desiderata Schools.
